Gleam - why does the tour say "Hello, Joe!"?

It comes from Erlang: The Movie

(This might be obvious to people who are older or familiar with Erlang)

Ericsson (Bjarne Däcker, Joe Armstrong, Mike Williams, Robert Virding) created the sketch to demonstrate (re)writing Erlang programs that run concurrently in the presence of errors. As the youtube comments say it's Monty Pythonish, but also an impressive demo. I have never touched Erlang because it seems different and weird, and idk if I've ever needed it, but if I encounter any Erlang shaped problems I will try to learn it, probably through Gleam.

The movie was made in 1990? https://letterboxd.com/film/erlang-the-movie/
